The days of hauling your heavy luggage through the airport are over! You can now have a suitcase that follows your lead.
NUA Robotics has raised the bar for “smart” luggage. Since there are already companies that have developed tracking devices for luggage to determine its location, NUA Robotics is using an in-suitcase camera with Bluetooth capabilities, which connects to a smartphone app, allowing the suitcase to know where its owner is and can follow behind.
Although the puppy-like suitcase is still in the testing phase, CEO Alex Libman plans to have it available to consumers in about a year.
Some may think that the world is becoming lazier by the minute, but when you’re no longer able-bodied and can’t carry your luggage on your own, wouldn’t you want something to do the work for you?
